What is it
Lorat tablets are an anti-allergy medicine. It is used to treat the allergic symptoms of hayfever and other allergies such as dust mites. Lorat can help relieve the symptoms of these allergies including sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy palate and itchy, red or tearing eyes.

Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years of age and weighing more than 30 kg: take 1 tablet once a day.
Children 2-12 years and weighing more than 30 kg: take one tablet once a day.
Children 2-12 years and weighing less than 30 kg: take half a tablet once a day.

Warnings & Cautions
People who are allergic to the drug...s active ingredient (loratadine) or any other components in the drug should not take loratadine.
Those born with the rare condition phenylketonuria should also avoid loratadine.
If you have severe kidney disease or poor liver problems, talk to your doctor before taking loratadine.
Regardless, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant before taking this or any other medication.
You should also alert your physician if you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. It...s not recommended that breastfeeding mothers take this medication.

Ingredients
Each tablet contains 10 mg of loratadine. Other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, maize starch and colloidal anhydrous silica.
