Imodium Instants - 12 orodispersible tablets

Dissolves instantly on the tongue for on-the-go relief of diarrhoea.

Imodium Instants Loperamide 2mg tablets are used for the treatment of sudden, short-lived attacks of diarrhoea in adults and children 12 years and over.

The capsules contain loperamide hydrochloride which helps reduce diarrhoea by slowing down an overactive bowel to its normal rhythm.

Tablets should be used in conjunction with oral rehydration therapy which replace fluids and salts lost during diarrhoea.

Directions:

Adults and children over 12 years’ swallow 2 tablets initially, followed if required, by 1 capsule after every further loose bowel movement.   Do not take more than 5 capsules in any 24 hours.

Some common side effects include headache, constipation, nausea and flatulence.
